The removal of these transformers took place adjacent to the Tennessee River and was expedited as replacement transformers were being moved on to the pad for staging in preparation for installation.
Our crew of 5 removed over 850,000 lbs of transformers in 6 days, all while maintaining a clean and safe site.

Once the transformer tanks were prepped for opening the crane was brought in to remove the top tank sections exposing the core for removal.
A-Line takes all precautionary measures to ensure that no residual transformer oil is leaked onto the ground during the transformer dismantling process. Once the windings are removed the remaining transformer materials are downsized and loaded out for further recycling.
